Pre-deceased by his parents Maggie and Ned Ryan.

 

Deeply regretted by his loving wife and best friend Mary (Nee Harrington), sons Declan and J.P., daughters Marguerite, Rosanne and Colette, daughters-in-law Geraldine and Niamh, sons-in-law Michael Walsh, Gerred Barrowclough and Bob Manahan, grandchildren Muireann, James, Mikey and Bébhinn Walsh, Annie and Eamonn Ryan, Brónagh, Céire, Dearbhla and Paddy Ryan, Eoghan, Tadhg and Liam Barrowclough, Caitlin and Riain Manahan, James’ fiancée Shauna and Muireann’s partner Eoin, great-grandson Vincent, sister Nellie Power, nieces Anna, Aileen, Lucy and Aoife, brother-in-law Tony Harrington, sisters-in-law Brigid Murphy, Phil Hutchings and their families, relatives, many neighbours and friends in the wider community.

Lying in repose at his home, Vicarstown, Modeligo, (eirocde X35 AX80)

on Thursday afternoon January 8th 2026 from 2.00pm to 7.00pm.

 

Funeral Mass on Friday morning January 9th 2026 at 11.00 am

in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Modeligo

followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

 

On Thursday afternoon January 8th 2026,

a shuttle bus service will operate

from Modeligo Community Centre

(eircode for Community Centre X35 KF22) from 2.00 pm.
