CLANCY, Neil Gregory (Donnybrook, Dublin 4). Neil died on Sunday, 24th September, after a long, long illness with which he came to beautiful and ever-curious accommodation. He’d have sooner carried on a bit more, but his auld body let him down. He follows his beloved mother, Peggy and adored brother, Tomás into our memories. He leaves behind families of blood and families of love: his father, Prof. Luke and his father’s wife, Joan; brother, Luke; sister-in-law, Claire; ex-wife Ciannait, partners and his children, Jake, Robin, Charlotte, Gracie; aunts, Áine and Annette; uncles, Tommie and Pat; nephews, Tomás and James; cousins Clancy, O’Connor, Carpenter, Geoghegan, Harris, Fortune and extended family; along with a wide circle of loyal and loving friends.
Neil will be reposing on Friday evening (29th September) from 5pm to 7pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28).
