Neil KELLY

Neil passed away peacefully at home on Friday, 23rd August, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the Wicklow Hospice palliative care team and the Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses.

 

Cherished son of Paddy and Cathy, beloved brother to Jean, Lewis, Robin and Hazel, Neil was loved by all who knew him and a wide circle of friends. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his parents, brothers and sisters, nephew Jamie, nieces Emma, Jessica, Jorja and Julia, sister-in-law Gillian and by his extended family and many friends.

 

Our deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and all of the staff at St. Anne’s Day Ward and most recently St. Michael’s Ward at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. We will be forever grateful to the Palliative Care team at Wicklow Hospice, the Night Nurses of the Irish Cancer Society and the many medical staff who played a part in Neil’s care throughout the years.

 

Funeral Mass on Monday (Aug.26) at 2.00pm in St. Fergal’s Church, Ballywaltrim, Bray, followed by private cremation

 

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Wicklow Hospice.
