Peacefully after a short illness in the exceptional care of the staff at UL Hospital Ennis, surrounded by his family.

Son of the late Delia & Jack Long, predeceased by his wife Marie, his sister Mary Nuala, brothers Tommy, Fr. Jackie, Eamon, Fr. Leo and his niece Anne.

Deeply regretted by his daughters Annette Hogan and Maureen Kelly, his sister Sr. Consilio (Nancy), his sons-in-law Mike and Declan, his adored grandchildren Michelle (Colm), Sean (Leanne), Mark and Anna Hogan, Rory and Michael Kelly, great grand-daughters Eva, Ruby, Róise and Bonnie, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many loyal friends

Neilus will repose at Sacred Heart Church, Scariff on Friday, 8th November, from 5pm with prayers at 7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, 9th November, at 12 noon followed by burial at the Old Cemetery, Moynoe.
