Nelius Sexton

SEXTON (Courtmacsherry) On 25th December 2025 (Christmas Day) peacefully at home after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family, CORNELIUS (Nelius), Cullinagh. Devoted husband and best friend of the late Joan (nee Drake) and precious Dad of Pat, Tim, Neil, Mairead (Murphy), Anita (Wallace), Orla (Hourihane), Marie and Elaine. Brother of the late Denis, Mary, Miah, Sheila, Kitty and Nuala.

Fondly remembered by his heartbroken family, his adoring grandchildren Adam, Ava & Andrew, Alannah & Ruth, Liadh, Éanna & Seán, Sarah & Daniel, Lucia & Dara, Byron & Greyson, his sisters Greta (Crowley) and Bernie (Brickley), sisters in law, brothers in law, daughters in law Barbara, Marita and Rose, sons in law Patrick, Mick and Damien, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Lying in Repose in Foley’s Funeral Home, Timoleague on Sunday 28th from 4pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday 29th at 12 noon in Sacred Heart Church Courtmacsherry, which will be livestreamed here, followed by burial in Lislevane Cemetery.
