Nellie (Ellen) O'Shea
(née Cronin)
On February 1st 2023, peacefully at her home, Nellie, cherished wife of the late Neilie, much loved mother of Mary (Russell), Angela (Galvin), Brendan, Jane (Perry), Kieran, Margaret (Burgher), John and Deirdre, dear sister of Joan, Peggy, Noreen, Jackie, the late Maureen, Dan and Denis. A precious Nana, who was adored by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, relatives, many friends and kind neighbours.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry, on Friday February 3rd from 5pm to 7pm with rosary at 7pm. Requiem Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Glengarriff, on Saturday 4th at 12 noon (livestreamed on https://corklivestream.com/funerals) followed by burial in Glengarriff Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Irish Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
