Nellie Gormley
(née Reilly)

Nellie Gormley (née Reilly), Pulladoey, Aughnacliffe, Co. Longford and formerly of Smear, Aughnacliffe, on Wednesday, 17th December 2025, unexpectedly but peacefully at her home.

Predeceased by her husband Ned; parents Patrick and Mary-Ellen; and sisters Patricia and Margaret-Mary.

Nellie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family: Felix (Colette), Anne-Marie (Ciaran McKeon), Paddy (Ann), Pauline (Padraig Galvin), and Margaret (Alfie Dennany); her adored grandchildren Ciara, Ryan, Sean, Tara, Nadine, Michaela, Katie, Eddie, Niamh, Peter, Kian, and Jack; her sisters Maura Reynolds, Ann Heslin, and Bernadette Reilly; brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, many good friends, and neighbours.

May She Rest in Peace.

Reposing at St. Colmcille’s Church, Aughnacliffe (Eircode N39 K603), on Thursday, 18th December,

from 5 o’clock, concluding with prayers at 8 o’clock.

Funeral Mass on Friday, 19th December, at 11 o’clock, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
