Niall (Cornelius) Dunne. (Fondly known to his workmates as The Big Fridge). Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the care of the wonderful staff of St.James's Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary, and devoted father of Shane, Darragh, Neala and Eoghain. Niall was a cherished grandfather to Ella, Lorna, Odhran, Moya, Laoise, Hugh, Brian, Conor and Fiadh. Dear brother to Eamonn and is now united with his late brothers Tony, Camillus and Declan. He will be deeply missed by his daughters-in-law Aiveen, Eithne and Aoife, son-in-law Frank, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, friends and colleagues from the Prison Service.

Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home, Portlaoise, Eircode R32W10E (opposite the church) on Wednesday (July 17th) from 5pm to 8pm with rosary at 7pm. Removal from his home in Beechfield on Thursday, to arrive at SS.Peter & Paul's Church, Portlaoise for 2pm Requiem Mass. House private on Thursday Morning, please. Interment afterwards in SS.Peter & Paul's Cemetery, Portlaoise. Funeral may be streamed live on the Portlaoise Parish webcam. In lieu of flowers, Niall requested that bright colours be worn to celebrate his vibrant spirit and joyful life. Donations, if desired, to The Cuisle Center.
