LONG, (Whitechurch and formerly Glanmire / Whites Cross, Cork): On February 10th, 2024 aged 85 years, peacefully, in the care of the team at The Mercy University Hospital, after a short illness borne with strength and humour, NIALL (formerly of Sarsfield G.A.A. Club) beloved husband of the late Eileen and late partner Patricia, much loved father of Kara, Sharon, James and Kenneth, dear brother of Betty, Ann, Olive and the late Timmy Joe, Nellie and JJ.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken children and family, daughters and sons-in-law Ken, Michael, Neasa and Eiméar, his adoring grandchildren Cameron, Elliott, Grace, Laura, Gavin, Erica, Kitty, Robin, Róisín, Tadhg and Eiley, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of dear friends and sporting enthusiasts.

Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on Wednesday (February 14th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday (February 15th) in St Joseph’s Church, Springhill, Glanmire which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
