Niall MOONEY

The death has occurred after a long illness of Niall Mooney of Barrack St. and formerly Coolagh St. Drogheda, lately of St. Mary's Hospital, Dublin Road, Drogheda.

Beloved youngest son of the late Eugene & Peggy and brother of the late Frank, Eoghan and Breeda.

 

Niall died peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on 22 December 2025.

 

He will be very much missed by his brothers Brian & Declan, sisters-in-law Mary, Ger and Mona, brother-in-law John, step-mother Mary, sister Caroline, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, especially Mairead and wider family circle.

 

Reposing at F Watson & Son Funeral Directors, Dyer St. (A92 W7EP) from 5pm to 7pm on Monday (29th December 2025). Funeral Mass on Tuesday (30th December 2025) in St. Mary's Church, James St. Drogheda at 11am which can be viewed at www.stmarysdrogheda.ie Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.
