Niamh passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025.

 

Beloved daughter of Kathleen (née Dineen) and the late Philip.

 

Dear sister of Catherine (Cait) (Kinehan), Deirdre (Carroll) and Orla (MacCarthy), cherished auntie of Adam, Séan, Cillian, Colm, Donnacha, Rían and Eimear.

 

Deeply regretted by her loving mother, family, brothers-in-law Stewart, Ross and Morgan, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and kind friends.

 

May Niamh's gentle soul Rest in Peace

 

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T), on Thursday (New Year's Day) from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, followed by Prayers.

 

Reception into Saint Lachteen's Church, Grenagh on Friday morning for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, after which Niamh will be laid to rest in the local Cemetery.

 

 

The family would like to thank Marymount Hospice and the staff in Ward GB of CUH and finally all in Grenagh Medical Centre and Allcare Pharmacy for everything they did for Niamh.
