Nicholas Ancel O'Carroll

Surrounded by his loving family, Ancel passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, 3rd August, in the exceptional care of the Galway Hospice, after a short illness, so bravely borne. Predeceased by his mother Kathleen O’Carroll (nee Devitt) and father Nicholas E. O’Carroll, Ancel is deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving family: his son David, his daughters – Nicola O’Carroll, Sarita Johnston, and Michelle Flanagan, his sons-in-law - Tim, Stephen, and Alfred, his daughter-in-law Dympna, his 11 adored grandchildren: Timothy, Odhran, Conor, Mark, Roisin, Aidan, Ciarán, Ferdia, Moya, Grace and Kyle, his former wife and best friend Jo, his extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Ancel will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Sunday 6th of August, from 4pm, with removal at 6pm to St. Michael's Church, Ballinasloe. Ancel's Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 11am, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery. Ancel's Funeral Mass can be viewed via live stream on https://www.churchservices.tv/ballinasloe
