Nicholas Barton

Barton, Nick passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 21st, 2025, in the exceptional care of the staff of Dunboyne Nursing Home, Co. Meath. Nick will be sadly missed by his children David, Lorna, and Kealan, and his grandchildren Charlie, Philippa, and Eloise, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his loyal friends, to whom the family extends their deepest gratitude.

We would like to extend our most sincere thanks to the compassionate and dedicated staff of Connolly Hospital, Beaumont Hospital & Lodge, Mater Neurological Unit and Dunboyne Nursing Home. Throughout his time in their care, Nick was treated with remarkable dignity, respect, and warmth. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and kindness offered not just comfort to Nick, but also strength and reassurance to his family. We are forever grateful.

Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Dunboyne Co. Meath on Wednesday 25th June from 5-6pm. Removal to Glasnevin Crematorium for a service on Thursday, June 26th at 1.30pm.
