The death has occurred of
Nicholas (Nick) Daly
DALY (Aughaville, Bantry and Clonakilty): on January 30th 2026, peacefully surrounded by his family and in the loving care of the staff at Teach Cairde, Scartagh, Clonakilty. NICHOLAS (Nick) beloved son of the late James and Margaret, brother of the late Tadgh and brother-in-law of the late Tony. Sadly missed by his loving sister Sheila (Burke), nephew Damien, residents and staff at Teach Cairde, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Sunday, February 1st 2026 from 5pm to 6.30pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday, February 2nd 2026 at 11am in the Holy Family Church, Caheragh. Funeral afterwards to Caheragh New Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Teach Cairde and all at Horizon’s and the doctor’s at Clonakilty Medical Centre for the care shown to Nick.
