The death has occurred of
Nicola Carey
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Nicola Carey, Lower Duhallow Park, Mallow, who passed away unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 9th 2025 at Cork University Hospital, much loved daughter of Eugene (Pota) and Mary (née O'Connor), adored sister of Shauna, Bryan and the late Shane.
Predeceased by her grandparents Paddy O'Connor and Noel and Christine Carey.
Sadly missed by her loving parents, brother, sister, grandmother Veronica, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Sunday (July 13th) from 5.30pm with Prayers at 7pm followed by Removal to the Church of the Resurrection, Mallow.
Requiem Mass on Monday (July 14th) at 12 noon.
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.
The family would like to thank most sincerely the staff of the ICU in Cork University Hospital for the amazing care shown to Nicola.
