Nicola Tobin

Tobin (Bandon) on July 5th 2023 peacefully at her home in Cherrywood, surrounded by her loving family and best friend Caroline and following an illness bravely borne with great courage and dignity. Nicola, beloved wife of Hugh Byrne, daughter of Con and the late Tess and dear sister of Leigh-Ann, and her husband Flor. Predeceased by her aunt Ann, cousin Ger, nephew Baby Conor, father-in-law Brendan and brother-in-law Colm.

 

Sadly missed by her loving husband, family, aunts, uncles, mother-in-law Rita, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, adored nieces and nephews, colleagues at St. Mary's Secondary School, Macroom, her friends in Bandon Camogie Club, her beloved dog Ozzie, cousins, neighbours, relatives and her great friends.

 

Nicola will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon (eircode P72WE20) on Thursday evening from 5.30pm to 7pm followed by prayers.

 

Due to ongoing road works on the South Main Street in Bandon, access to the Funeral Home is advised via Riverview Shopping Centre or Chapel Street.

 

Requiem Mass on Friday at 3.30pm in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.

 

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to The Alzheimer's Society of Ireland, Irish Cancer Society or the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
