The death has occurred of
Noel Buckley
BUCKLEY (Monard, Whitechurch, Cork): On June 26th, 2023, peacefully, in his 80th year, sadly passed away surrounded by his loving family after a long illness bravely borne with great dignity and acceptance NOEL was the only son of the late Mick & Maggie Buckley, beloved husband of the late Betty (née Kiernan).
He passed peacefully, in the loving care of Marymount Hospice surrounded by Mick, Bernard, Trina, John, Noely, Liz, son-in-law Tadgh and daughters-in-law Orla & Joan.
He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Lorraine, Christine, small Noel, Anthony, Liam, Kieran, Fiona, Daniel, Sean & Ailis-Marie, also John's partner Denise & Liz's partner Saoirse, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
All his close neighbours and wide circle of friends young and old and his longest and dearest friend Teddy McSweeney and of course his three dogs Zack, Alby & Koba.
Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd: On Wednesday (June 28th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday (June 29th) in St. Patrick’s Church, Whitechurch. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Whitechurch.
