Peacefully, under the care of the wonderful staff of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles. In the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Peggy (née O'Reilly), daughter Deirdre, brothers Willie, Tom and Chris, sisters Noreen and Maura. Deeply regretted by his daughters Maura, Claire and Anne, son John, brother John Joe, sons-in-law Owen, Anthony and Donal, grandchildren Evan, Dylan, Fionn, Dara and Tadgh, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Teresa and Nancy, cousins, relatives, former colleagues in Thurles old Swimming Pool, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamom Road, Thurles on Thursday 10th April from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Friday 11th April at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery, Thurles.
