NOEL GILLIGAN
Raheen, Elphin and formerly of Fairymount, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.
9th January, 1934 – 24th February, 2025
Peacefully, in his 92nd year, with his loving family by his side, in the tender care of the staff at the Regional Hospital Mullingar and previously at Roscommon University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents James and Cecelia, brothers Michael and John and sisters Nellie and Rachel. Deeply mourned by his loving wife Kitty (née Feely), sons Val and James, daughters Helen, Kathryn and Celia, his adored grandchildren Kate, Nicholas, Daniel, John Noel, Hannah Kate, Mark, Evan, Cian, Tara Úna, Jack, Ailbhe and Emily, sister-in-law Sarah, sons-in-law Pat, Tommy and Paul, daughter-in-law Stephanie, Tara Úna’s Mum Marcella, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours and his many friends.
May Noel rest in eternal peace
Reposing at Brady’s Funeral Home, Elphin – F45 Y168 - on Wednesday 26th February from 4pm to 8pm. Removal from his home on Thursday to St. Patrick’s Church, Elphin to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm. Noel will be laid to rest afterwards in Caldra Cemetery.
