Noel Looby, Abbeyside, Dungarvan and formerly of Ardmore, Co. Waterford who died on Thursday, 5th September 2024.

Noel passed away peacefully surrounded by those who loved him most in the extraordinary care of the Oak Ward staff at University Hospital Waterford, following a difficult illness which he bore with unwavering strength, dignity and grace.

Noel, adored husband of Nora (née Deely), beloved father of Laurene, Emma, Aisling and Billy. Noel will be missed by his sons-in-law Stephen Drummey and Derry Murphy. Noel was proud grandfather to Ava, Adam, Paudie and Dara. Sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Mary and Hannah, brothers-in-law Tom, Neily, Austin, his nieces & nephews, uncle Matt & Noreen & cousins. Noels many friends, with a special mention to John and Dan to whom he was a loyal friend and his colleagues will miss him more than words can convey.

Reposing at Drohan’s Funeral Home, Dungarvan (Eircode X35 XF67) on Sunday, 8th September, from 5p.m - 7p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, 9th September, at 11:30a.m in St. Declan's Church, Ardmore. Burial afterwards in St. Augustines Cemetery, Abbeyside.
