Noel Patrick Coughlan
Noel Patrick Coughlan, 31 High Street, Birr, Co. Offaly, passed away peacefully on January 21st, 2025, in his 80th year, surrounded by his loving family, in the tender care of the wonderful staff at Birr Community Nursing Unit who cared for him so well over the past seven years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, his daughters Fiona and Valerie, sons; William, David and Christopher, son-in-law Eamonn (O’ Meara), daughters-in-law Suzanne and Ashling, his adoring grandchildren; Érin, Conor, Kate, Davey, Lori, Harry, Danny and Sarah, his beloved sister Violet (Kelly) and brother-in-law Jimmy, his brother-in-law and sister-in- law Tom and Eileen King, nephews , nieces, neighbours, work colleagues and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42YF75) on Wednesday evening 5pm. - 7pm. Removal from the Funeral Home on Thursday morning at 10.15 am. passing his home in High Street at 10.30 am. to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr. Family flowers only please, Donations if desired to Birr Community Nursing Unit, Sandymount, Birr.
