Noel (Richard) KAVANAGH

KAVANAGH, Noel (Richard) late of Rathfarnham, and formerly of Sandymount, passed away peacefully on the 24th of February 2026. Beloved father of Domhnall, the late Ruary, Camino, Darragh, Abel and Vicky. He will be sadly missed by his children, grandchildren Faolán, Aoife, Alex, Luis, Valentina and Airoa; his sons- and daughters-in-law Patrick, Siobhán, Melissa and Arnaud; his sisters-in-law Ann and Imelda; his nieces, nephews, and all extended family, neighbours and friends, as well as Berty the Hound and Rusty.

The family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to all the staff in St. Vincent’s and St. James’ Hospitals for all the care and support given to Noel and his family during his time with them, and last but not least, Mateus, muito obrigado!

Noel will be reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, D16 VO46, on Friday evening (February 27th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday afternoon (February 28th) to the Victorian Chapel, Mt. Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross, D6W HY98, arriving for a 3.15pm Funeral Service.
