Noel Smith

The death has occurred, peacefully, of Noel Smith, aged 73, The Grove, Farrell Street, Kells and formerly of Cross, Carrick and Fr. Mc Cullen Park, Kells, in the loving care of the staff of Our Lady's Hospital, Navan and his devoted daughters. Noel was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Stephen, his brothers Freddie, Edward, Johnny and Michael and is survived by his heartbroken daughters Sharon, Yvonne, Lisa (UK), Elaine and Miriam (Australia) and their mother Doreen, his loving sisters Pam, Nancy, Marie, June, his brother Stephen, grandchildren, nephews and nieces, in laws and a wide circle of family and friends in Kells.

Noel's remains will leave his residence on Wednesday, 3rd November, at 5pm via Farrell Street, Cross Street, John Street, to arrive at St. Colmcille's Church for 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 4th November, at 1pm which can be viewed on https://www.kellsparish.ie/our-parish/webca8m/ followed by burial in St. Colmcille's Cemetery. Noel's residence will remain strictly private at all times, please.

In keeping with Government and HSE health guidelines, please respect social distancing at Noel's removal, funeral Mass and burial, in the interest of safety for all. 

Noel will be fondly remembered as a proud native of Kells, who loved his home town. He was a gifted carpenter, with very skillful hands, whose workmanship was always acknowledged and admired by many. A very much loved father, grandfather and brother, who will be sadly missed.
