Noel ''Snowy” Smith

Noel "Snowy" Smith, 32 Tullacmongan, Cavan Town, Sunday February 8th 2026, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the wonderful staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Kathleen and very recently by his brother in law Tony. Noel was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by his loving family, Maura, Peggy Heraghty, Hubert (Teresa), Kathleen Mac Neaney (Damian), Gerry (Joan) and Andy (Fran), his nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, all his former work colleagues, his good neighbours and a very wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Noel's remains will leave his home in Tullacmongan on Wednesday morning at 11.30am and will travel via Main St and College St to the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan for a Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass the cortege will travel to St.Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry for committal prayers and burial in the family plot. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cúan Cancer Care, Cavan c/o Mc Mahon Funeral Directors, Farnham Rd, Cavan, donation box in the Funeral Home or any family member.
