Noel WARD

WARD Noel (Castleknock and formerly of Finglas, Dublin) February 7th 2021 peacefully at his home after a long illness and surrounded by his family. Noel, beloved husband of Mary and dear father of Peter, Jonathan, Melissa and a devoted grandfather to Emma, Jack, James, Sean, Chloe and Anna. He will also be sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Niamh and Michelle along with son-in-law Darragh, his sisters Marie, Joan, his late brother Sean's family, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and especially his friends and neighbours.

Noel, formerly of Rank Xerox and later DST, fought a long and courageous battle right to the very end, to the admiration of all his family and friends. He will be dearly missed and leaves us all with only good memories of the life he shared with us. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff in St. Francis Hospice Blanchardstown's Home Palliative Team who provided exceptional care and empathy. 

A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. When the current circumstances have passed, we look forward to celebrating Noel’s life with friends and extended family at a later date.

Noel’s Funeral cortège will leave his home on Wednesday morning at 11am (approx) for neighbours and friends to pay their respects. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral; but due to current restrictions cannot, may view Noel’s Funeral Mass online on Wednesday (10th February 2021) at 11.30am  by following the link below.
