Nonie Ruane
(née Farragher)

Formerly of Annaghdown, Co. Galway.

On Palm Sunday 29th March, Nonie completed her life’s journey. She has been re-united with her husband Bernard and her baby son John. Deeply loved and mourned by her sons and daughters Patrick, Brian, Michael, Bernadette, Mary and Noreena. She will be fondly remembered by daughters-in-law Tara, Tina and Mary, sons-in-law Peter, Michael and John, much-loved grandchildren, her sister Eileen, sisters-in-law Mary and Sally, brother-in-law Patrick, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.

May her kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Funeral Arrangements

Monday, 6th April 2026

Nonie will lie in Repose at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91 V1K8) from 4.30 p.m. Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Renmore (H91 PX95).

Tuesday, 7th April 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Nonie at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in Oranmore village cemetery. Livestreaming link: https://mcn.live/Camera/st-oliver-plunkett-renmore-galway

Memorial Donations (if desired), in memory of Nonie will be gratefully accepted by St. Francis Day Care Centre, Newcastle, Galway.

Parking Information

Please approach the funeral parlour entrance on foot from Fr. Burke Park.

Street parking may be available on Fr. Griffin Road, within the Claddagh, on Henry Street, Sea Road, The Crescent, Dr. Colohan Road.

Car Parks within walking distance of the parlour: The Claddagh Church, Spanish Arch and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station.

There is limited space for the immediate members of Nonie's family within the grounds of the funeral parlour. Some space is reserved for guests with mobility needs.
