Nora passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving husband and family in St. Martha’s nursing home, Charleville on Friday, April 3rd, 2026.
Loving wife of Tim, much loved mother of Denis, Julie (Cremins), John, Noreen, David and the late Timothy, Bridget, Eugene and Caroline, cherished grandmother of Ben, Finn, Harry, Noelle, Timmie, Joshua, Abbie-Lee, Brooke, Luke and Kai, Steven and Kieran.
Dear sister of Timothy, Lena (McCarthy), Rita (Lawlor), and Hannah.
Deeply regretted by her loving husband, family, daughter-in-law Emer, son-in-law Tadgh, Noreen’s partner Chris, David’s partner Lin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Nora Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Hawe - O'Keeffe's Funeral Home (P56 YY15), Bakers Road, Charleville, on Easter Sunday from 4:30pm to 6:00pm, followed by prayers and Reception into St. Peter and Paul Church, Dromina.
Requiem Mass on Bank Holiday Monday at 11:00am, after which Nora will be laid to rest in Ballinakill Cemetery, Kilbolane, Milford.
The family would like to sincerely thank the management, nurses and staff of St. Martha’s nursing home for the exceptional care and attention they showed to Nora during her nearly 10 years with them and to the Marymount nurses who attended their mother.
