Nora Cahalane
(née O'Brien)

Formerly of Cashelbeg, Enniskeane, Co. Cork. Nora passed away peacefully on the 1st September after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, in the kind care of the staff of Gorey Hospital. Devoted wife of the late Con and beloved mother of Tomás, Denis, Annette, Sheila and Mari. Sister of Con, Anthony, Sheila (Wilson) and Marie (McCabe), Nora will be greatly missed by her sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, son-in-law Anthony, daughters-in-law Carole and Sandra, beloved grandchildren Zak, Adam, Isabel, Ronnie, Mia and Dominic, brothers-in-law Msgr. Tom and Pat (Cahalane), sisters-in-law Mary, Phil and Anne, nephews, nieces, extended family, wonderful neighbours and many dear friends.

Nora will repose at Murphy's Funeral Home, The Avenue, Gorey (Eircode Y25 K122) on Wednesday 3rd September from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Removal from Murphy's Funeral Home, on Thursday 4th September at 12.30 p.m. to St. Michael's Church, Gorey for Reception Prayers at 1 p.m. and Funeral Mass will take place at 2 p.m followed by Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Gorey.
