The death has occurred of
Nora Cronin
(née McCarthy)
On January 22nd 2023, Nora passed away peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Bantry General Hospital, beloved wife of the late John, loving mother of Jim, Catherine (O’Mahony), Margaret (Minihane), Con, and Maura (Hickey), sister of the late Mary, Andy, Charlie, Bridie and Hannah, adored grandmother to Laura, Kevin, Seán, Rachel, Owen, Michael, Ellen, Grace, Leah, Emma, and Joshua. Sadly missed by her loving family, her sons in law Tim, Denis, Seán, daughter in law Eileen, Jim’s partner Ann, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Nora’s family wish to acknowledge and express their gratitude for the excellent care given to her by all the wonderful staff in the Dochas Ward, Clonakilty Community Hospital and Bantry General Hospital.
Reposing at Coakley's Funeral Home, Chapel St, Bantry, on Monday Jan 23rd from 6pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass at St Joseph’s Church, Coomhola, on Tuesday Jan 24th at 12 noon followed by burial in Kilmacomogue Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Clonakilty Community Hospital or Palliative Care, Bantry General Hospital.
