HAYWARD (Maidenhead, U.K. and formerly of Lady's Cross and Assumption Place, Clonakilty): on June 2nd 2024, peacefully at home. NORA (née McCarthy) beloved wife of the late Tony, much loved mother of Janie, devoted grandmother to Ciara and Matthew, dear mother-in-law to Paul, sister of the late Margaret, John and Phyllis. Lovingly remembered by her family, brother Michael (Upper Tawnies), nephews and nieces Laurenza, Alan, Trevor, Ann, Rose, Neil, Philomena, Mary, Timothy, Paula, Imelda, Majella, Kieran and Canice, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, carers, neighbours, friends and colleagues of the NHS especially Kate and the late Queenie.

Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Thursday, June 13th 2024, from 6pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Friday, June 14th 2024, at 2pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty. This will be livestreamed via www.clonakiltyparish.ie/live. Funeral afterwards to St Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.

The family would like to thank most sincerely Nora’s carers in recent months for the wonderful care given to her, especially Richard, Ann, Suzanne and Eimear.
