It is with great sadness we announce the death of Nora Lucey (Nee Horgan), Gearagh View, Raleigh South, Macroom, on February 1st, 2021, at home in the tender care of her loving husband and family. Beloved wife of Donal and much-loved mother of Siobhan, Patrick, Marie (O’Connor), DJ, Don, Noirin (Birnie), Paula and Concubhar. Sadly missed, lovingly remembered and always in our hearts, by her husband, sons, daughters, sons-in-law Michael and Mark, daughters-in-law Amanda and Niamh, partners Caitríona and Jacqueline, Her brother John and partner Mary, brother-in-law Seamus, sisters-in-law Noreen Martin and husband Brendan, and Gerty Horgan, grandchildren James, Evan, Oisín, Leanora, Dylan, Reece, Daniel, Micheál, Ruairí, Payton, Corey, Orla, Owen and Cillian, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, friends and kind neighbours.

A private Funeral will take place in keeping with Government guidelines regarding public gatherings. Nora’s Requiem Mass will be streamed at www.churchservices.tv/macroom on Wednesday at 1pm, funeral afterwards to St Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom. Nora’s Funeral cortege will travel via Carrigaphooka to Kilnamartyra, pass her residence, then onto Raleigh Bridge en route to St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom.
