Formerly of Hidden Valley, Prospect Hill, Galway City.

On the 27th of January 2026, Nora passed away very peacefully in University Hospital Galway, with her loving family by her side.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick, daughter Geraldine, sisters Maureen, Patsy, Teresa, Daisey and Kathleen, brothers Tony, Mel, Mike and Michael Joe.

Nora will be dearly missed by her daughters Martina, Cepta and Sarah, sons Martin, Noel and Gerry, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Grace, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in Áras Naofa, in the grounds of St. Oliver Plunkett Church Renmore (H91 YV52), on Friday the 30th of January from 5pm until 6:30pm. Funeral Cortege will arrive at St. Columba’s Church, Castlegar (H91 E4C9) on Saturday the 31st of January for Requiem Mass at 11am. Nora will then be laid to rest with her beloved Patrick and Geraldine, in Castlegar Cemetery.
