Nora McDermott (née Gaffney) Willsbrook, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. March 15th, 2026 — peacefully, in her 95th year, surrounded by her devoted family.
Predeceased by her parents Michael and Annie Mary, her beloved husband Paddy, her infant sister Bernadette, her twin sister Una, Mary, Nancy and Breda, her brothers Tom, Michael and James.
Nora will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family: her daughter Jacinta (Colleran, Castlerea) and her son John (Dublin). She was a much-loved and adored grandmother to Peter, Shane (Josie), Jamie, Marc, Daniel, Emma, Zara and Jack, and great-grandmother to Noah and Sophie.Deeply regretted by her son-in-law James, sister-in-law Rose, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea (F45 V2Y4), on Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea, for the Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock, followed by interment in Kilcroan Cemetery, Ballymoe.
