Nora (Nan) Blake
(née Hourihane)
BLAKE (Convent Court, Clonakilty and formerly of Reenascreena): on March 18th 2023 unexpectedly at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork. NORA (Nan) (nee Hourihane) loving mother of Lester and Danny Morrison, beloved daughter of the late Conie and Mary Hourihane, Reenascreena, sister-in-law of the late Virginia Hourihane. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, brothers Battie and Sean, sisters Lily, Ita and Mary, brothers-in-law Tom O’Driscoll, Pat Hayes and Barry O’Brien, sister-in-law Ann, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, extended family, neighbours and good friends especially Kit & Pat Ahern, Alex Johnson and Jake Ryan.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Wednesday, March 22nd 2023, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm with Prayers at 7.15pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, March 23rd 2023, at 2pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty. This will be livestreamed via www.clonakiltyparish.ie/live. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.
