Nora ''Noady'' Naughton
(née Hanahoe)

On February 19th, 2026, NOADY (formerly of Ballina) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a long illness, bravely borne. Deeply missed by her husband Frank, daughters Mary (McAuliffe) and Leona (Healy), sons-in-law Joe and Liam, grandchildren Eanna, Oisin, Cillian, Aoibhinn and Liam, her sisters Goretti, Bridie and Patricia (Tece), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.

The Naughton family extend a heartfelt thanks for the expertise, care and kindness of the Marymount Palliative Care Team, Public Health Nurses, Home Supports, the Motor Neurone Disease team in Cork University Hospital along with the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and Dr Gitte Wieneke and all the staff at the Marino Medical Practice in Bantry.

Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel St, Bantry, P75 YW58 on Friday Feb. 20th from 5.30pm to 7pm with vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Durrus, P75 NW92 on Saturday Feb. 21st at 12noon (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the adjoining New Cemetery.
