Nora (Nonie) Gillan

Nora (Nonie) Gillan (nee Kenny), Conloon, Castlebar, in her 92nd year, peacefully, at Mayo University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Stephen, sisters Bridget and Nell and brothers  Mike and Tom. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken family, daughters Mary (McHugh), Anne (Kennedy), Veronica (Coleman) & Noreen (Smith), sons Michael, Martin and Stephen, daughters-in-law, Ann, Anne-Marie and Carmen, sons-in-law Jimmy, Bernard, Terry and Adrian.  Deeply regretted and fondly remembered by her 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at The Coady Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 10.00 until 11.00 o'clock with removal to St. Michael’s Church, Crimlin via Tawnyshane and Conloon, for funeral Mass at 12 noon, funeral  afterwards to Turlough Cemetery.

Family flowers only.

House strictly private please.

Nonie's funeral will be private for immediate family only. For those who would like to pay their respects as the funeral cortège passes through the town and en route to the church, please stand in a socially distanced manner on the streets, roadsides, outside the church and cemetery ensuring public health and safety is being upheld to the highest standard.

Those who would like to attend the funeral but cannot due to current restrictions can leave a message of sympathy in the condolence section below.
