The death has occurred of Nora (Noreen) Twomey (née Keating), Renard, Cahersiveen, Co Kerry and formerly of Ballina, Portlaoise, Co Laois on Wednesday, 1st October 2025, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Valentia Community Hospital.

Loving mother to Gerard, Michael, Anne Marie (Wragg) and Eugene. Predeceased by her husband Michael.

Nora will be very sadly missed by her much loved grandchildren, Clochan, Lewis, Sam, Ellie, Ewan and Ben, her daughter-in-law Faith and son-in-law Steve, niece, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Nora will repose at Daly’s Funeral Home, Cahersiveen (V23 NN59) (Front Room) on Thursday, 2nd October from 5pm to 7pm and will repose at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise (R32 R684) on Friday, 3rd October from 6.30pm to 8pm (rosary at 7.30pm). Funeral mass on Saturday, 4th October at 12 noon in St. Peter’s and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise. Burial afterwards in Ballyfin Cemetery (R32 TD61).
