Nora Sweeney
(née Ryder)

Nora Sweeney (née Ryder), Killeenaran, Kilcolgan, Co. Galway. Predeceased by her husband Thomas and her brother John.

 

Nora passed away on July 14th 2025, in the tender care of the Staff of the Blake Manor Nursing Home in her hundred and second year.

 

Deeply loved and very sadly missed by her sons Eoin, Peter, Tom and Michael and her daughter Margaret. Nora will be deeply regretted by her daughters-in-law Christine and Bernie, son-in-law Des, her adoring grandchildren, niece, nephew, relatives and a large circle of friends.

 

Reposing at Suaimhneas on the grounds of the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge (H91HW58) this Wednesday the 16th of July from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral Mass for Nora at 12noon on Thursday the 17th of July in St. Colman's Church, Ballinderreen (H91N611). Burial afterwards in Drumacoo Cemetery.
