The death has occurred of Nora Tierney née Nolan, Donore, Multyfarnham, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Ballyheeragh, Co. Mayo, Friday 23rd of January 2026 peacefully in the company of her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Predeceased by her husband; John, her sons; Pauric, Brendan and Alan.
Nora will be sadly missed by her loving sons; Tom, Sean and Martin, her daughters; Marie, Helen, Caroline and Joan, her daughter-in-law; Debbie her brother; Michael, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Nora will repose at Shaw’s Funeral Home, Bishop’s Gate Street, Mullingar (N91RY65) on Monday 26th of January 2026 from 5.00pm – 7.00pm.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday, 27th of January 2026 at 12 noon in St. Nicholas’ Church Multyfarnham (N91 VE28) followed by burial in Rock Cemetery, Multyfarnham.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimers Society c/o Seamus Meehan & Son, Funeral Director or any family member.
