Norah Clarkin
(née McGrath)
On March 11th, 2024, Norah passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at Marymount Hospice Cork, predeceased by her husband Ray and daughter Olivia, dearly loved mother of Joanne, Isobel and Patricia, adored Nana to her grandchildren, Ella, Rayanna, Aoibhín, Clodagh, Róisín, Ciara, Fionn, Daniel, Grace, CJ, Siabh, Asta and Adam, dear sister of John McGrath, Margaret Newell (N.Z.), Anne and Helen McGrath. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law David Cronin, Garrett Sayers, David Power and Martin Machata, her dear cousin Helen Smith, sister-in-law Frankie, nephews nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her family home on Wednesday March 13th from 4pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday March 14th at 12noon in St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (click here to view livestream) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Marymount University Hospital & Hospice.
