Noreen Buckley,
St. Mary’s Terrace, Midleton, formerly of Youngrove, Dungourney, Co. Cork.
On January 1st, 2026, suddenly but peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by the love of her family.
Noreen (née Robinson), dearly beloved wife and best friend of James, and adored mother of John, George, Jamie and Daniel. A devoted and cherished grandmother to Dylan, Shane, Connor, Hailey, Zoey, Ryan, Abbie, Shannan, Emma, Ger and Alex, and a treasured great-grandmother to her precious Kai.
A dearly loved sister of Patricia Cotter, Kathleen Cody, Christy Robinson, Martina Joyce, Liam Robinson and Pádraig Robinson, and a constant source of kindness and support to all who knew her.
Predeceased by her beloved parents George and Nancy, much loved sister Madeline Lynch, sister-in-law Eileen O’Mahony and brother-in-law Donie.
Noreen will be forever loved and sadly missed by her heartbroken family; daughters-in-law Sharon, Jennifer and Sarah; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; her dear friend Maura Milton; extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends, especially her cherished friends in the Vintage Club.
May Noreen’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Noreen will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton, P25 X382 on Sunday 4th January from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.
Reception into Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Monday 5th January for 2:00pm Funeral Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
