Noreen, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025 in the Mercy University Hospital, Cork.

 

Predeceased by her loving husband Joe, her daughter-in-law Mary and son-in-law Bob.

Dearly beloved mother of Bernard, Mary (O’Flaherty), Noel and Paul, cherished grandmother of Alan, Lisa, Stephen, Kevin, Sarah, Diarmuid, Aaron, and Aoife, and great-grandmother of Kate, Andrew, Oliver, Ava, Sophia, Gearóid, Luke, Clodagh, Nadia, Siofra, Óisin and Darragh.

 

Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Christine, sister-in-law Jean, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

May Noreen Rest in peace

 

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T), on Thursday (New Year's Day) from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, followed by Prayers.

 

Reception into the Church of the Resurrection on Friday afternoon for Requiem Mass at 2:00pm, after which Noreen will be laid to rest in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery, Mallow.

 

The family would like to thank the HSE Homecare team, Rose and her colleagues, carers Joanne and Eileen, Dr. Molony and the staff at the Red House Family Practice and staff at the Mercy University Hospital.
