Noreen (Nora) Mahony (née King) of Coolkeragh, Listowel, Co. Kerry, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on 15th January 2026, beloved wife of the late John and dearest mother of Marie (Lynch), Frank, Michael, Bill, Gretta, Rosarie (Lyons), Kathleen, Jer and Tim and mother-in-law of the late Margaret Fitzgerald and grandmother of the late Brendan.

Sadly missed by her loving family, her 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Mike and Richard, daughters-in-law Kathleen & Aileen, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Noreen will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Greenville, Listowel on Sunday (18th January) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. Teresa’s Church, Ballydonoghue on Monday morning at 10.45 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Noreen will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Listowel.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Palliative Care Unit, U.H.K. (via “Donation” link below – Kerry Hospice Foundation), or care of the Gleasure Funeral Home, Greenville, Listowel.
