Noreen Murphy (née O’Sullivan) Newtown, Clarina, Co. Limerick and formerly of Garryglass, Waterville, Co. Kerry.
January 22nd 2026 unexpectedly but peacefully at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of Jim. Dearly loved mother of Gráinne, Emer, Mairéad and Íde. Noreen will be sadly missed by her sons-in-law Barry and Enda, Íde’s fiancé Tim, her adored grandchildren Charlie, Maeve, Ciara and Ivy, brother Micheál (Mike), sisters Maureen, Margaret, Bridget, Catherine, Helen and the late Sheila, Jim’s brother Mick, sister-in-law Colette, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, her much-loved neighbours in Newtown along with her many friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballybrown on Monday (26th January) from 5.15pm to 7.15pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday (27th January) at 12 noon followed by burial in Kilkeedy Cemetery.
