Noreen (Nonie) Hansberry (nee Mchugh) died January 27th 2026
Formally of Chapelfinnerty, Ahascragh, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.
Pre-deceased by her sisters Mary and Bridie, brothers Jim, Marty, and Fr Joe.
Sadly missed by her beloved husband Bernie, sister Rose Divilly (Monivea) sisters in law, Maureen McHugh (Chapelfinnerty), Bridie (England), Annie Crotty (Ballinderreen), Katy Madden (England), her brothers in law Liam (Ennis), Sean (Doonane), Martin (Ennis), nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Noreen will repose at Mannion’s Funeral Home, Abbeyknockmoy, Tuam, Co. Galway. (H54 RW94) on Thursday 29th January 2026 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Removal from her home on Friday morning 30th January 2026 for requiem mass at 12:00am in St. Mary’s Church, Skehana (H53 VK40) followed by burial afterwards in Doonane Cemetery.
May her kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace.
