Noreen O'Leary
(née Cronin "Cupps")

On May 5th 2023, peacefully in her 93rd year, in the presence of her family, NOREEN, beloved wife of the late James, dear mother of Margaret (Furlong), Danny, Mary (Ross), James and Tim, sister of the late John and Paudie Cronin. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law James and Donal, daughters-in-law Margaret and Kathleen, grandchildren Eoin, Tadhg, Connie, James, Seanie and Maighréad and their partners, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing in the Community Hall, Whiddy Island on Saturday, May 6th, from 7pm with rosary at 9pm (Ferries departing from the main Bantry pier at 6pm and 7pm with a return ferry at 10pm). Reposing on Sunday May 7th from 3pm to 4.45pm with removal from Whiddy Island at 5pm to Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry landing at the Railway Strand, Bantry at 6pm approx. (Ferries will depart at 2pm and 3pm with a return ferry at 5.15pm). Reposing in Coakleys Funeral Home, from 7pm with vigil prayers at 9pm. Requiem Mass on Monday May 8th at 12noon at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (livestreamed on bantryparish.ie) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to West Cork Palliative Care c/o Bantry General Hospital.
