NOREEN FINUCANE TROTA WALSH

(Former Honorary Consul General of Ireland to the Philippines)

 

Noreen served as Honorary Consul General of Ireland in Manila for 26 years, carrying out her duties with dignity, dedication and a deep commitment to the Irish community in the Philippines.

 

Noreen (née Finucane), also known as Nora Mary Finucane, of Listowel, Co. Kerry and the Philippines, passed away peacefully in Manila, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband, Noni.

 

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her family in Manila; her husband, Bill (Listowel), and his family; her relatives; and her many friends in Ireland and abroad.

 

Noreen will be interred in Manila on 21 November 2025.

 

A mass to celebrate Noreen’s life will be organised later.
