Hughes (née Long) Olive, 2nd March 2026, Mangerton Road, Drimnagh, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the loving care of the staff of The Residence Care Home, Maynooth; beloved wife of the late Gabriel (Gay), loving mam of Vincent, Fergus and Graham, a much loved nanny of Kathryn, Robert, Laura, James and Danielle and a gran gran of Ollie and Tess.

 

Olive will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughters-in-law Anne, Denise and Della, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Gerard and Joseph, sisters Margaret and Marie, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Wednesday (4th March 2026) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday (5th March 2026) at 11.30am in St. Agnes’s Church, Crumlin followed by Cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium.
