Olive (Ollie) Hanniffy

Ollie passed peacefully, in her 92nd year, in the presence of her family and life-long friend, Kathleen Quinn and in the loving care of the staff of Ballinderry Nursing Home. Predeceased by her parents, John and Mary, brothers and sisters; Sean, Maureen (Sr. Kieran), Fr. Mannix S.D.B, Fr. Brendan S.M.A., Nancy (Copinger), Dr. Ignatius (Iggy), Lily (Dillon), Dr. Liam, Dr. Patricia (Patty) and Amelia (Faulkner). Deeply regretted by her sisters-in-law Ann Hanniffy (Dunne), Portlaoise, Ethna Haniffy (Page), USA, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, a wide circle of friends and the past pupils and former colleagues of the Convent of Mercy, Ballinasloe. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Ollie will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Friday, 22nd of March, from 5.30pm, with removal at 7pm to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Creagh (H53 EH93). Ollie's Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday at 1.30pm, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery.
