Oliver Merlehan

Oliver Merlehan, Clonkill, Mullingar, Co.Westmeath, 13th February 2026, peacefully, in the tender loving care of Midlands Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Christopher and Kathleen, his brother Peter, his sister-in-law Mary Hill and his brother-in-law John Whyte.

Sadly missed by his wife Anne, his sons Declan, Martin, Dermot and Oliver, his daughters Helen (Mulvey), Edel (Martin) and Pauline (Boyce), his brother Pat, his sisters Ann and Claire, his grandchildren James, Joseph, Meabh, Ellen, Oisin, Fionn, Ned, Sean, Sophie and Anne, his daughters-in-law Ciara, Pauline and Maria, his sons-in-law Jim, Stephen and Kieran, his sisters-in-law Ann and Áine, his brother-in-law Jimmy, nephews, nieces and extended family.

May Oliver Rest In Peace

Reposing in St .Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel (Eircode N91VF51) this Monday evening (16th February) from 4pm concluding with prayers at 6pm with removal thereafter to Church of the Assumption, Taughmon (N91 XY66) to arrive approximately at 7.30pm. Funeral mass on Tuesday (17th February) at 11am with burial afterwards in Turin cemetery.

House private at all times.
